Ansie Louw, born Everson, is the grandmother of now the seventh generation of Louws on Opstal. She had a passion for numbers and ran Opstal's finances with a firm hand until her dying day. She was a sophisticated woman with a great affinity for beautiful jewellery and Italian shoes but at the same time a skilled farm woman of many talents, including baking, cooking and meat processing. Her hospitality was indirectly the beginning of Opstal Restaurant. She had a passion for people with physical disabilities, and among her other endeavors in the community, she played a great role in establishing a center for people with physical disabilities in Worcester.

This free-standing unit, with one king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, is suited for two adults. It is equipped with an outside deck, wood-fired hot tub, and private outside shower. This is ideal for a bridal party or a romantic breakaway.
This unit is wheelchair friendly.

Our restaurant might not serve dinner, but we do. We offer a variety of meal baskets for pre-order. Whether you prefer steak, lamb, chicken, or even a burger, we have you covered. We also offer a range of freshly made salads, braaibroodjies, and other sides. Don't forget about dessert! Have a look at our treats to end the evening on a sweeter note.
We also offer breakfast baskets for those who prefer to make it instead of coming down to our restaurant. You can choose between a hot breakfast basket or a continental basket, to be delivered to your unit the previous afternoon. They even inlcude a juice!
Please note that we are a self catering establishment, some of the items in your meal basket will be for self preparation.
