As our local wine market is growing and the demand for innovation and creative wines are increasing we have decided to expand our Opstal Estate range. We have added two new wines to the collection namely Opstal Chenin Blanc 2017 and Opstal Cabernet Sauvignon / Cinsualt 2017.
Our family has farmed with Chenin Blanc for generations and it forms the cornerstone of our estate, comprising a third of our vineyards. This Chenin has an great balance of zippy freshness to go with its aromatic complexity. Attractive aromas of pineapple, peach and apricots are well held together with a subtle spice and leesy complexity from the 8 months spent in larger French oak Foundres.
